Application Process
We will be involved all the way through the process to ensure matters run smoothly and a successful completion is achieved for you.
- Once we receive your valued enquiry by phone, email or Internet enquiry, one of our experienced consultants will call you to discuss your requirements. If you prefer to discuss initially by email then that is fine.
- If we feel that Shawbrook Bank can assist then we will provide you with an illustration for you to consider along with what additional information will be required.
- Once we receive the require information, we will submit this to Shawbrook Bank for approval.
- Following approval an indicative offer letter will be issued and if you are happy to proceed a valuation of the property will be undertaken. You will be asked to pay for the valuation before it is undertaken.
- If the valuation is acceptable, then Shawbrook Bank will issue the formal offer subject to final approval.
- Subject to you being happy with the terms, you will be asked to sign and return the offer along with payment for 0.25% of the arrangement fee. The balance of the arrangement fee will be added to the Loan at drawdown.
- Solicitors are then instructed and subject to all legal conditions being met, the loan will be drawn to complete the transaction. Shawbrook Bank’s legal costs will be deducted from the loan and the net monies issued. We can also arrange for our Broker Fee to be deducted from the loan as well.
